FALL WORKSHOP 2015 PIANO MASTERCLASS
Annette Lee loves to incorporate listening and reading games in her lessons when teaching Suzuki piano at MacPhail Center for Music.

Annette Lee has been a Suzuki piano teacher for 27 years and has been on the Suzuki faculty at The MacPhail Center for Music as a Suzuki Piano Instructor, Suzuki Parent Trainer and accompanist since 1995. She is an active accompanist in the Twin Cities collaborating with both students and colleagues. She has been a featured performer on MacPhail’s Spotlight Series and Faculty Concerts.

Ms. Lee has held teaching positions at the Music Institute of Chicago as well as DePaul University. She has been invited to teach many Suzuki Institutes and workshops in the Midwest, CO and Canada. In May 2012 and 2014, Ms. Lee was invited to present Master Classes, accompany and present papers at the National Suzuki Conference in Minneapolis, MN.

She received her Performance Degrees from the Wheaton Conservatory of Music, IL as a Wheaton Merit Scholar and was a Fellowship student at the University of Michigan. While at Wheaton she was a Concerto Competition winner and was awarded the Nell Stockwell award at Michigan. Her principle teachers include Reginald Gerig, Dr. Louis Nagel, Martin Katz and Suzuki Trainers Doris Koppelman, Yasuko Joichi, Fay Adams, Jane Reed, Mary Craig Powell and Caroline Fraser.

Recently awarded the highest honor by the Suzuki Association of the Americas, Ms. Lee is now the only active Teacher Trainer for Suzuki Piano in Minnesota. She looks forward to developing a program to develop Suzuki Piano teachers in the area. Click Here to Download Bio
